- Permanent ban on banks entering the real estate brokerage and management business.
- Worked to ensure commercial property owners have access to mortgage capital needed to refinance existing short-term commercial loans.
- Senate Bill 3747 declares private transfer fee covenants, which would require future buyers or sellers to pay a private transfer fee to whoever is designated in the covenant on all future transfers, to be invalid and against public policy.
- House Bill 6038 extended the Illinois income tax credit for certain donations for affordable housing purposes until 2016.
- House Bill 5677 made changes to Illinois “good funds” law regarding monies at closings.
- Partnered with the local Homebuilders Association to oppose the mandating of Residential Sprinkler Systems for new construction homes in the City of St Charles.
