“Have a Heart” is the name of Baird & Warner’s campaign to encourage giving blood on Valentine’s Day at two local Heartland Blood Centers.

A list of donor qualifications is found on the Heartland Blood Centers website, www.heartlandbc.org. In general, anyone who is 17 or older, at least 110 pounds and in good health can donate blood. Sixteen-year-olds can donate with parental permission.

Baird & Warner’s Have a Heart blood drive will take place at the new Geneva Heartland Blood Center, located at 2000 E. State Street, just east of Randall Road in the Walgreen’s shopping strip. Arrangements can also be made to donate at the St. Charles donor center, located at 3851 Main Street, in the East Gate Commons near Super Target on Rt. 64.

To schedule an appointment between 11:30am and 7:00pm on February 14, call the Baird & Warner Fox Valley office at 630.377.1855 during normal business hours any day of the week.

You can also schedule an appointment online at www.heartlandbc.org, or you can contact Heartland Blood Centers at 1-800-786-4483 and mention you want to donate for the Baird & Warner drive.

Baird & Warner has teamed up with Wendy’s on Randall Road in St. Charles, just one stoplight south of Rt. 38, to also offer a free Jr. Frosty to every participant in their Have a Heart campaign.

Baird & Warner will be providing additional tokens of appreciation and Valentine themed refreshments to make every donor feel pampered for their efforts.
